Partnerships with impact

The strides Smiling Mind takes towards achieving its ambitious vision are strengthened by authentic and purpose-driven partnerships that put shared value at the centre. Together with our partners, we work collaboratively to transform the way Aussies think, feel, talk about and nurture their mental health. Together, we empower people to elevate their mental wellbeing through skills development and lifelong habits. By ensuring people develop the skills to thrive, we can prevent illness and take a crucial step towards creating generational change in mental health.

The impact of a partnership with Smiling Mind

We unite with partners who share our amibition to create generational change, building shared value in the process. Our most impactful partnerships take a 360 degree approach in building mental fitness skills for our partners' employees, customers and the broader community.

Our partnerships are developed in alignment with our partners' business objectives and seamlessly integrated across key facets of your organisation and brand touch points. We can scale from co-branded to fully integrated and will work in collaboration with your team to determine the depth of integration and a phased roll out that's appropriate for your objectives, roadmap and needs.

It’s important that your employees have the opportunity to start their own mental fitness journey and get behind Smiling Mind's mission to drive generational change. There are a number of interactive ways to engage your employees when partnering with Smiling Mind, including educational events, skilled volunteering, fundraising initiatives, workplace giving, team challenges and ambassador programs.

What makes Smiling Mind different?

Uniquely Australian

Founded in Australia, our roots have helped us grow as a brand that embraces the beauty, warmth and mateship of our homeland. We’re all about connecting communities and offering a uniquely Australian experience.

Extensive reach and engagement

So far, we’ve reached more than 8.6 million people through our renowned wellbeing app, with 250K highly engaged users completing an activity on our app every month. Through our specialised Primary School Program, we’ve engaged 1400 schools—and this, alongside the app, has allowed us to reach 12.8M young people.

Credibility

Smiling Mind programs and resources are designed by psychologists and are evidence-based. Our app, programs and resources offer education and practise from beginner level through to in-depth skill development.

Deep integration

By partnering with Smiling Mind, you can empower your customers and users to build their mental fitness through our diverse suite of multimedia content, seamlessly integrated into your ecosystem via API integration.

Advocating for change

We continue to advocate for federal representation of 5-12 year old Australian children to address the growing crisis in children’s mental health and wellbeing.

Why do we need generational change?

The evidence supporting the need for a proactive, preventative approach to mental health for children is staggering. Currently, 70% of the most common presentations to paediatricians are related to mental health needs. Although 50% of all adult mental health issues emerge before the age of 14, there are no widely accessible, engaging and age-appropriate preventative mental health programs for Australian children aged 5-12.

Australia is in the midst of a mental health crisis, and the mental health outcomes of adults and young people continue to deteriorate. There have been significant shifts in how we approach the prevention of physical illness, such as heart disease and cancer, by teaching healthy skills in childhood. If we act now and invest in the right approach, we can have the same effect on mental health for our future generations.
